Free to worship

She did not have the best reputation, many knew her story and not in flattery terms. She had a label to her name, a rap sheet to her case but she was a worshipper. She pressed through the condescending looks & the hurtful remarks to kneel at the feet of the Master & touched His heart through worship. Tears of brokenness and adoration ran down her face like a river as she washed His feet and softly wiped them with the fur of her hair…
then a great peace invaded her heart and she felt the joy of being forgiven…

Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty,

She left the label and the luggage at the feet of the Master,

She was set free,

free to be that person of standard,

That vessel of honor,

That she was created to be,

Her past did not have power over her anymore,

The woman who was looking for love

In all the wrong places,

The woman who was looking for identity

In false promises,

The woman who was known in town

Not because of her virtue,

The woman who was talked about,

The woman who was looking for relief in the bottles or the needles,

The woman who was lied to, was no longer…

She met the Potter who took the broken vessel

And shape her with destiny and made her whole,

And when she thought there was no more treasure in her,

She met the jeweler who took the scars of her past,

And restored beauty to her soul

And she became a living stone,

With the word “redeemed” engraved in her heart…

She met A carpenter who took away

The old foundation of lies and deceits,

And laid down a new foundation of life with purpose…

She was forgiven….

I had a Dream

In the dream, I was on a college campus and there was a fashion show and about 10 beautiful young ladies were competing for the grand prize and I was in the audience. The prize was to be awarded to the person who dressed the best during the school year and included the day of the show.

The contestants stood up on stage. (if I can call it that because, the scenery was like an open field) and the host announced the winner…….and everyone was distraught and unsatisfied with the result because the recipient of the award was not the best dressed and even the clothes that she wore to the show did not match or reveal any class. There was murmur in the crowd as a protest to the result. The young lady came forward and received her prize and the host called on her husband to join her…the husband came forth along with their daughter, whom she kissed and was not too happy about her husband being on the stage with her.

The show was not over yet but people were so sad, included the host that for a few minutes nothing was going on and there was desolation in the place. As I am sitting in the crowd, I could even touch their pain, hear their sorrow and mostly in the contestants expression, as if life just lied to them.

So I grabbed the microphone and started talking to them, reminding them about what really mattered and painted the picture of who they were and all the treasures that they carried in the inside of them…. and ended the speech by saying: “the show must go on…. you will have defeat in life, you will experience deception and rejection, hurt and sometimes life might seem unfair…. but the response that you give to it all is very important because it can be a building or breaking point…. and I encouraged them to stay true to themselves, to never loose the essence of who they were…. and that, each of them had hidden gifts, talents that needed to be stirred up and that they can still make it in spite of any misfortune…

It was as a flower blossom under a raindrop, all of a sudden they started cheering, not for me but for themselves and saw all the possibilities ahead and started to hope again, dream again and they knew that they were all winners….

SINGLE.... You said

He was different from all the other men that ever crossed her path,
He was not after a one night stand or any eventual date,
He was not trying to hit on,
Nor did he tried to lure her, or shower with compliments
To get something out of the deal,
And after he spoke to her for a while,
About food for the mind and gave her bread of life to nimble on,
He asked her to bring her husband,
But she replied that she was single,
Single you said,
I guess you are right,
I guess you have been freed from every complication,
I guess that you are over all those you ever married,
All those who ever touched you and bruised your spirit,
I guess that they don’t have power over you anymore,
You will not fall for their charming looks
Or melt again under the sound of their voices,
I guess that you will not run back to them again,
and be used and rejected again,
So single you said,
I guess you are healed from all the scars and the wounds that they inflicted you,
Single you said, because you are ready to move forward,
And leave all that luggage behind,
Single you said, not because you wake up in an empty bed in the morning
But romanced all night long,
Single you said, are you ready to be committed,
Have you divorced all the others,
Because I am not looking for a date,
I don’t want to be a substitute,
But I long for an everlasting relationship with you,
All I ever desired is a closer and deeper walk with you,
Single, you say…. Will you give me your heart,
Single you said but are you available
Will you give me the wheel,
Single you Said…. Are you ready to take my hand and be COMPLETE….
Just say, “Yes” and thirst no more….

A Father's Love

She was new in town, she was a country girl,
fresh out of High School and she was tired of living in a farm…
and she can still remember her dad’s facial expression,
when she told him that she wanted to be on her own,
when she asked him for her inheritance,
because she wanted to see the world and explore,
she always wanted to be a model and be on a magazine cover
because she was very beautiful, had a flair for fashion
and was very creative with her wardrobe…
Even though her father was heartbroken and anticipated so much
the day when he would walk her down the aisle to someone who would love her as he has,
he never dreamed that he would send her on some unknown adventure
and yet he granted her wish because she was no longer a child…
but her brother could not believe his ears
and was furious that his Daddy always fell for her “little games” he thought…
She was so excited when she boarded that plane
and her excitement grew even more when she could
admire that view of the beautiful city from above, under a nocturne sky
and the stars were like promising pearls and her dreams so high, and the lights so inviting…
she knew she could make it and her heart was pounding with joy…
She got in touch with a friend of the family whose daughter lived in the city and
the arrangement was that they would share that luxurous appartment
and split the expenses between the two of them…
So her friend picked her up and both young ladies were so excited
to finally be reunited and they had so much to talk about.
Even the first month after her arrival, she was still hype and she sent a letter to her dad
to tell him how great things were going and that she had a job…
But a few months later, her employer let her go because of excessive lateness,
but yet her dreams were still big and the young ladies always had something to celebrate
and they would either go out or invite friends over
and it would be most of the time at her expense and soon she was broke.
When she finally confide in her friend,
she told her that it was no problem, that she would introduce her to someone who was in the modeling business… She was so grateful, her dream was finally coming together…
The guy was very handsome and she was soon under his charm…. Everything was going well,
he was very patient in teaching her how to express herself through her photos,
from a provocative smile, to a provocative pose and he persuaded her that he would be more marketable,
that her career would blossom faster if she posed nude, she was reticent at first but soon she gave in…
and she was very naive when it come to man and she believed him and he knew the power that
he had over her, that she would do anything to please him so he told her about some parties that he usually hosted and he would need her to escort a friend occasionally and promised her that
all she would have to do is just provide entertainment through exotic dancing and that would be all… but this lifetime soon escalated to a life of prostitution and now she was living a double life… When her friend found out, she threw her out and now she was homeless and needed to survive, so the streets became her home. She would hide behind huge sun glasses and wigs and heavy make-up so she don’t remember who she was…Meanwhile her dad was back home constantly praying for his daughter’s safety and she had stopped every correspondence with him because she was too ashamed of herself…And one morning she was laying in that dirty motel room and she woke up and looked around her and something happened, she looked at the money that the client from the night before had left on the commode and for the first time she felt so dirty, so empty inside and she sobbed uncontrollably and asked herself what she had become because her father was rich ~ how can she sell her body in exchange for food, how can she sell her dignity while she was royalty and even the servants back home were treated with more decency not like a piece of meat; so that night she knew that she could no longer go on like that and she rushed to the shower and rubbed her skin as hard as she could as if she was trying to erase that part of her life and said to herself, ” I will go home to my dad and even if rejects me as his daughter at least I can work in his farm and make a living and feel good about myself ” ~~ And she could not wait for the sun to shine because a new chapter was about to unfold, so early that morning, she took only her handbag and left all those expensive fur coats and high boots and sexy apparels that she used to take such pride in wearing and she hijacked till the way home to her father’s…

It was pretty quiet in the village but in the house her father had some friends over and they were around the table eating and having a good time, and when they heard some persistent knocks on the door, a servant was heading to answer but the Master of the house told her that he would get it and he headed to the door as if he knew deep in his heart, that it would be her daughter on the doorstep… and his face lit up and a tear of joy ran down his white beard when he held his daughter’s fragile body in his arms and she felt at his feet and say I am sorry Daddy, then he got her up gently and replied, “I am so glad you are home, Princess” and he introduced her to his friends who were thinking silently, oh gosh… she looks like a wreck, but he kissed her on her cheeks and went in the living room and got a Tiara that she always enjoyed wearing and he placed it on her head and as she was shaking like a leave maybe because there was so much emotion in the room, he placed his coat around her shoulder and said, Daddy’s Princess is home and everyone was amazed and flooded by so much compassion and love and raised their glasses in a toast to New beginnings …

~Her father has never stopped loving her ~

A propos de Moi/About me

“The Lord’s favor is upon you, fear no circumstance or element of intimidation because He is working behind the scenes to bring you to the stage of life with excellence and the script for purpose is already inside of you.”
So Light, Camera, Action and be all that He created you to be.
